Author Eligibility and Limits

Who can submit?
Undergraduate students from Sri Lankan Universities and Major Education Institutions in Humanities and Social Sciences.

Submission Limits:
Maximum two (02) abstracts per author as the primary author. An individual may be listed as a co-author on a maximum of two papers.

The primary author should submit the abstracts.
The primary author will be the presenting author.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Formatting Requirements:

• Title: Times New Roman, 14pt, Bold, Centered, max 20 words.
    Iskoola Pota, 14pt, Bold, Centered, max 20 words.

• Authors & Affiliations:
  ▪ Names: INITIALS Surname (Times New Roman / Iskoola Pota, 12pt, Bold, Centered)
  ▪ Affiliations: Department/University (Times New Roman, 11pt, Centered)
  ▪ Corresponding Author E-mail: (Times New Roman / Iskoola Pota, 10pt, Italic, Centered)

• Abstract Content:
  ▪ Single paragraph, 350 words max, summarizing: Introduction, Objectives, Methodology, Findings, Conclusions.
  ▪ Font: Times New Roman / Iskoola Pota, 11pt, Single Spacing.
  ▪ Keywords: 5 max, Italic, Alphabetical order.

Submission Process:
  • Please download the Official Abstract Template provided on the website. (You must write your abstract directly within the template without editing).
  • Submit two Word files:
    1. With author details.
    2. Without author details.
  • Deadline: July 10, 2025
  • Penalty: Incorrectly formatted abstracts may be rejected.

Researcher’s Declaration Form

Requirements:
 ▪ Authors may submit the Student Declaration Form through the website. A duly completed and signed scanned copy of the form must be submitted along with the abstract.
 ▪ The declaration form must be certified by a permanent academic staff member of the respective department.

Format of the Abstracts

Abstract Submission
  ▪ The abstract should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx format).
  ▪ The author must submit two copies of the abstract: Two Word documents (one with author details and one without).
  ▪ For the correct formatting of the abstract, we advise you to first download the abstract writing format (Sinhala/English). Then, write your abstract according to the given template. The font type, font size, and line spacing have already been formatted in the template. You only need to review the content of your abstract according to the formatting guidelines, and then delete the instructional text within the brackets.
  ▪ Authors must strictly adhere to the formatting guidelines. Incorrectly formatted abstracts may be rejected. Please check the abstract formatting instructions thoroughly before submitting your abstract.

    Co-Author: LKR 2500.00 (For each)

All the Primary Authors and Co-Authors are required to register individually using following banking details. If any author has submitted multiple Research Papers, he/she will have to pay separately for those Research Papers.

Guidelines For Presenter

Please follow the guidelines below when preparing your presentations and presenting at your session:

1. Presentation Guidelines
  ●Detailed instructions for preparing your PowerPoint (PPT) presentation are provided in the attached Word document.
  ● A PPT template is also attached. Please ensure that you use this template for your presentation.
  ● You can add more slides if necessary. However, please be aware of the time management during your presentation.

2. Submission Requirements
  ● Submit your completed PPT in PDF format. (We accept only PDF files) and upload it to the system via the Upload Presentation tab
  ● The submission deadline is 13th October 2025.
  ●File naming format: RASAS_(Abstract ID)_(Presenter’s Last Name)

3. Conference Programme
  ● The conference programme is available on the official website.
  ● All presenters are required to attend the Inauguration Ceremony.

4. Registration Details
  ● Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on the conference day.
  ●Please collect your conference pack and meal tokens at the registration table.
  ● The registration desk will close at 8:30 a.m.

How to Submit Your Abstracts

Click the Submit button on Submission Details page Fill details → Click Register button → Login using Registration details → Click Submit Abstract tab on sidemenu → Fill Authors and Co-authors details → Click Upload button → Upload your Abstracts → Click Submit button → Check submit success or not.

• Separate fees apply for multiple submissions (max two papers).

• Conference pack includes:
  First Author (Main Author): Conference bag, Reusable water bottle, Pen, Notebook, Two refreshments and Lunch
  Co-author: Conference bag, Pen, Notebook, Two refreshments and Lunch

• Certificates:
  Both the presenting author and co-authors will receive certificates.
